Made in China contains 17 full songs, not including reprises and interludes. Influences come from works by Burt Bacharach, John Adams, Harvey Schmidt (of Fantasticks fame), Andrew Lloyd Webber (specifically Phantom of the Opera), and Stephen Sondheim.
